Join IX and Help Build Tenant Power
Inquilinxs Unidxs por Justicia (IX) is seeking a Donor Organizer to lead and grow our individual donor program. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in sustaining and expanding a grassroots, tenant-led movement for housing justice in Minneapolis. The Donor Organizer will build meaningful relationships with supporters, mobilize resources, and help translate our organizing work into compelling fundraising strategies.
About IX
IX builds tenant power to transform the housing system. Founded by Latinx community members, we organize renters most impacted by rising rents, unsafe conditions, and landlord abuse. We are a multi-identity, multi-language, and multi-cultural organization rooted in justice, collective action, and community leadership.
About the Role
This is a permanent, salaried, full-time position reporting to the Senior Strategist. The role is focused on organizing members for campaign communications and strategy: helping our campaigns tell their story, growing our reach, and making sure renters are the ones speaking for their own fights.
We are seeking a responsible, focused person who is committed to social justice work, rooted in community, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. The right person will be committed to lifelong learning, willing to give and receive regular feedback, organized and detail-oriented, creative, strategic, and committed to building relationships with our members.
