Inquilinxs Unidxs por Justicia (IX) is seeking a Donor Organizer to lead and grow our individual donor program. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in sustaining and expanding a grassroots, tenant-led movement for housing justice in Minneapolis. The Donor Organizer will build meaningful relationships with supporters, mobilize resources, and help translate our organizing work into compelling fundraising strategies.
About IX
IX builds tenant power to transform the housing system. Founded by Latinx community members, we organize renters most impacted by rising rents, unsafe conditions, and landlord abuse. We are a multi-identity, multi-language, and multi-cultural organization rooted in justice, collective action, and community leadership.
About the Role
The Donor Organizer sits at the intersection of organizing, storytelling, and fundraising.
This role is responsible for:
Building and stewarding relationships with individual donors
Leading fundraising campaigns, events, and donor communications
Developing systems and strategies to grow IX’s donor base
Supporting long-term sustainability of IX’s work
This is a highly relational role for someone who is values-driven, organized, and comfortable talking about money in alignment with movement-building principles.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $55,650 annually (full-time, salaried)
Schedule: Minimum 32-hour work week
5 weeks paid time off
11 paid holidays + two annual office closures
